We were staying at a hotel a short walk away. This is a private club but you can access for dinner if you don’t live within 5km I believe. The staff graciously welcomed us and we had a great dinner.

On the ferry wharf in Double Bay, pleasant place for fish & chips. Seating sometimes a bit too cramped. Not cheap, RSL-feel, efficient service.
